Chosen for its aesthetic appeal, wood seawalls are commonly used in residential and golf course applications. Wood seawalls are designed and engineered with tie-backs to regain the supporting force with deadman anchors. We also install heavy lumber, whaler beams, placed on the outside of the wall to give support.
We cover the backside of the wall with filterfabric. The filterfabric allows water to pass through but prevents any backfill from filtering through the wall. All of our wood is treated to the highest chemical treatment (Chromated Copper Arsenate).
